Chairman/Founder

Bill Bosch is the Vice President of Apprenticeships and Client Solutions at Northwest Lineman College. Bill’s trade experience spans over 45 years with positions that range from his beginnings as a Groundman, Lineman, Foreman, Apprentice hot line trainer, Dispatch Supervisor and the COO & CEO of utility companies.

Bill is the Founder and Chairman of the National Association of Journeyman Lineman, and currently sits on the Board of the Fallen Lineman Organization, the International Lineman Museum/Hall of Fame and The Lineman Ranch.

Bill is the Author and Founder of the National Lineman Appreciation Day on April 18th celebrated each year.  Bill was inducted into the Lineman’s Hall of Fame in 2011, with his father “Cliff Bosch” being inducted shortly after in 2013.

Bill’s proudest accomplishments are being married to Karen, and the father of 5 and a grandfather of 7.

With over 27 years of experience in the powerline industry, he  is the Regional Director of Training for Quanta Services’ Southeast Region. Previously Brandon has held the positions of Vice President of Apprenticeships at Northwest Lineman College. Electric Cities of Georgia as Director of Training & Safety until August 2022.

Brandon served as Chair of the Safety Committee for the American Public Power Association (APPA) and contributed to the development of the 17th edition of the APPA Safety Manual.  He has held various roles from Chair/VChair to competitor in the APPA Lineworker’s Rodeo and the Georgia Lineman’s Rodeo Association (GLRA).

Brandon is a A Certified Utility Safety Professional (CUSP) since 2013, Brandon is an active member with the National Utility Training & Safety Education Association (NUTSEA), and the Utility Safety Operations & Leadership Network (USOLN). In recognition of his contributions, he was named a “Rising Star of Public Power” by APPA in 2011.  and, most recently,  appointed to the Board of Directors for the International Lineman’s Museum and Hall of Fame. In October 2023, Brandon was honored with induction into the International Lineman’s Hall of Fame.

As a second-generation lineman,  he has made a mark on the industry with music he wrote “Highline Cowboy,” a song that captures the spirit of linework and was featured in the documentary Storm Soldiers, the motion picture Life on the Line starring John Travolta, and multiple commercials nationwide.

 

Jon Beasley

Board Member

Jon brings over 30 years of lineman experience to the board. Jon currently is the Superintendent of Training and Safety for ECG (Electric Cities of Georgia). He has actively trained line workers in three states for more than 60 cities consisting of over 500 students. Jon coordinates and leads utility crews on disaster response/mutual aid for natural disasters. Jon is an active member of the “Lineman’s Rodeo” and continues to serve as Master Judge of the APPA Line workers Rodeo Competition. He currently serves on the APPA E&O Section and Safety Committee.
